Funding entity Iberdrola
The main objective of the project was to design a Voltage Control Coordinated Strategy for the set of Iberdrola's plants, that fitted with a new Voltage Control Operation Procedure (P.O.7.4) approved in Spain. The first step was to coordinate all plants voltage control systems in order to deal with the System Operator orders. In a second step the project worked on a economical optimization of the voltage control strategy preserving the technical feasibility. The project also included a consultancy work related to ancillary services regulation in the Spanish context, as well as some courses for technical staff.
